Oak Leaf Earrings

Oak Leaf Earrings

from $40.00

The oak, or ‘Duir’ to the early Celts meant protection and solidity and is the origin of the word door. In the forest the Oak is King and it was a very sacred tree to the Druids. The amber that is tied on the leaf was a favorite ‘tree’ gem. The leather is formed by hand and then painted and covered in a water-proof solution. It hangs on a gold-filled ear wire. Choose from small (1.5” long leaf) or medium (2.25” long leaf).
